The Giants have arrived. Bluefin tunas are here, not in great numbers yet, but sizes are making up for quantity. Our largest has been a 100 incher. Thanks to everyone that help make this past year a great year. Only more great things to come in 2006. Hope you are a part of it.

Continued to catch wahoo
at the stream. The king mackerel bite inshore
has been very hot. We have also seen and hooked
up bluefin tuna.

My favorite time of the year is just around the
corner. December and January should provide you
all the action you want with 400 to 600 pound
fish just 10 miles out.

September/October

September started off with
the wahoos chewing and October ended with excellent
wahoo action also. We have had several trips with
8 to 10 wahoos, large king mackerels and tuna
in the mixed. Bottom fishing has been great with
nice groupers for the cooler. In between it has
been one big blow on the NC coast between a hurricane,
a tropical storm and just plain ol' wind.

Variety is truly the spice
of life. Had a great group down from Maryland
mid month. We had a great time bottom fishing
offshore. Groupers, snappers, sea bass and more.
We are still catching plenty of dolphin on the
weed lines and the wahoo are starting to show
up in better numbers. Billfish bite continues
to be strong with sailfish and white marlin. Half
day trips are yielding Spanish mackerel and some
nice sized king mackerel.

June and July

June continued to bring yellowfin
tuna and the mahi-mahi were strong also. July
has been billfish month for sure. Blue marlin,
white marlin and sailfish are providing some excellent
action. We continue to have great catches on mahi
this month. The near shore activity has really
crank up with king mackerel and dolphin available
just a few miles offshore. Be sure to plan your
trip in advance and let’s go catching!!
